This class is open for the healthy and experienced practionner (at least one year of Pilates experience). This is a fun class that keeps you moving over moving surfaces as you execute the exercises. These will playfully challenge your balance and core control while developing your skills in the Pilates Method. Working with foam rollers, trigger point balls, and therabands, the exercises are selected to restore balance to the length/tone relationship of the musculature and myofascial chains essential for maintaining good health and improving posture.
Wednesdays at 18:00. Main language of instruction: German.
Whole-body-oriented mat class with emphasis on strengthening the deep core musculature of the abdomen and the back, and on mobilization of the spine.
You will enjoy a varied course of exercises, with some use of small equipment such as rollers, circles, balls and Therabands.

The goal of this series of Sunday workshops is to teach you how to work with therapeutic balls and rollers to release tension, stress, and blockages in your spine, pelvis, neck and shoulders, head and feet. These workshops will help you relax better at the end of the day and clarify your body's needs. They will make your practice of yoga or pilates and physical training much more easeful and accessible.
The myofascial tissues will soften and unclamp fluids blocked there, restoring your body's balance and its organic flow of energy, helping you recover harmonious movement and alignment. You will come out relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated!

The material is designed to allow you to safely explore the language and benefits of asana practice. The focus is on freeing and fortifying the spine and integrating the supporting abdominal and chest muscles correctly and consciously as we move into the larger standing, inversions, twists, and extensions that challenge our balance and our minds in gentle playful ways. Deep breathe and restorative postures make this class a complete journey of integration and understanding of the "Rising Abiding Declining" that is the central core of Vinyasa yoga.
